Cobe

Name: Djacob Sev

Born March 31st and weighed is 6.7lbs.

His "pogi points": eyes cute as a button

His not so "pogi points": cries like a firetruck siren when hungry

I was toying with my camera, until my sister asked me if I can do the invites for my nephew's baptism this coming saturday. As any good tita would, I took some pictures of him and he was a very good model. He doesn't seem to mind hearing the camera's swishing action and I think I came up with a pretty decent invitation. Or most likely the little guy is just too darn adorable!

To a woman who wore yellow...

The passing of former President Corazon Aquino brings great mourn for our country. Unlike presidents before or after her, she has to fight sweat and blood for a cause more than her shoulders can handle.

I was only nine years old when the first edsa revolution happened. Back in those days, I never really understood what was happening. I know there was woman in her eyeglasses calling out in the TV and was saying "tama na, sobra na, palitan na". What was that all about, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with patintero I used to play with all the other kids in the neighborhood. Little did I know that she was fighting for my future, my generation's future. If not for the plain housewife turned widow turned president, I may have never known the freedom we have today.

In her passing, let us not betray her legacy. The revolution she started and fought so hard for is not just a sweeping moment for change. We honor her by taking responsibility of our nation. We honor her when, like her, we realized its our priviledge to be a Filipino.

To Corazon C. Aquino, a wife, a mother not only to her children but to a nation and our President MARAMING SALAMAT PO
